DS Graphics maintains an FTP site at
it's 120 Stedman Street Facility. Clients may
upload files to this site 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week.
If you are one of our clients and
would like to upload files to our FTP server you
will need to be assigned a User Name and
Password from DS Graphics before using the site.
Please contact your sales or Customer Service
Representative if you wish to acquire a User
Names and Password.
By using your assigned User Name and
Password, you will be automatically brought to a
subdirectory that is named the same as your user
name. As a user you have rights in your
directory to upload and download files, but you
cannot delete any files. Upload files to this
directory, do not create any additional
subdirectories.
Files should be compressed using
either Stuffit (MAC). or Winzip (PC). Other compression
programs may be used but they must be saved as a
self-extracting file.
To Submit Files To DSG FTP
Site Through an Internet Browser:
- Type the following in the Location
field of your Browser:
ftp://User_Name:Password@ftp.dsgraphics.com
- (Replace User_Name and
Password with your assigned User Name and
Password.)
- Press Enter
- Reduce the size of your browser
screen, open directory where the file you wish
to send is located and reduce it to a small
screen, then you can drag and drop the file to
the browser screen or you could go to the file
menu then click on upload file.
- Confirm file transfer when prompted.
- Close all windows when transfer is
complete.
To Submit Files To DSG
FTP Site Using an FTP Program
FOR WINDOWS OR DOS ON A PC AND THE "FETCH"
PROGRAM ON MAC:
HOST:
ftp.dsgraphics.com
USERNAME: Type
in your User Name
PASSWORD:
Type in your
Password
Once you are logged in you will be in
your designated subdirectory.

Upload your
files.

Once your program
confirms that the file has been uploaded you can
then log off the FTP site.
For DSG to Get Files From Your FTP
Site:
Supply DS Graphics with the following
information.
HOST: FTP SITE
ADDRESS
USERNAME: USER NAME FOR
DSG TO USE
PASSWORD: PASSWORD
FOR DSG TO USE
DIRECTORY:
DIRECTORY(ies) WHERE THE FILE(s) ARE
LOCATED
Include a list of files which DS
Graphics is to download.
There is an automatic e-mail sent to your
Customer Service Rep. notifying them that a file
has been placed in your directory. However, a
corresponding e-mail and/or phone call is still
required for the job to become live at DSG.
